Downtown San Diego is a vibrant and exciting place to be. There's always something going on, whether it's exploring the historic Gaslamp Quarter, catching a game at PETCO Park, or enjoying the views from Balboa Park. And of course, there are plenty of great places to eat and drink. Here are just a few of our favorites:
Gaslamp Quarter: This is the heart of downtown San Diego's nightlife scene. There are over 200 bars and restaurants in this historic district, so you're sure to find something to your taste. Be sure to check out some of the local breweries, like Stone Brewing Co. or Ballast Point Brewing Company.
PETCO Park: Home of the San Diego Padres, PETCO Park is a great place to catch a game. But even if you're not a baseball fan, the park offers plenty of other activities, like concerts and special events. And of course, there are plenty of places to eat and drink inside the park.
Balboa Park: This massive urban park is home to museums, gardens, and more. It's also a great place to take a walk or go for a run. And if you get thirsty, there are several cafes and restaurants scattered throughout the park.
